The position of the ring fingers of the 10 members of Akatsuki:
- Right thumb: Rei (Zero) – Ring of Pain (Nagato) with a dark gray with purple tint. Nagato is like a starting and ending point. He uses Yahiko’s body. Nagato holds the Rinnegan and is considered the heir to the Six Paths.
- Right index finger: Ao (Blue) – Deidaira’s ring with a green-blue tint.
- Right middle finger: Bya (White) – Konan’s ring with white color. Konan acts like an angel, transmitting messages from Pain to his subordinates. Konan is probably the purest soul in Akatsuki.
- Right hand little finger: Shu (Crimson) – Itachi’s ring with red color. Itachi’s ring has the letter GA symbolizing the Zodiac, one of the four ancient beasts.
- Right little finger: Gai (Hoi – 12th Zodiac) – Zetsu’s ring with green color. Pigs are omnivores, a close association with Zetsu’s role of “cleaning up” everything left in the Akatsuki organization.
- Left hand little finger: Ku (Sky, Void) – Orochimaru’s ring with blue-gray color. Maybe this speaks to Orochimaru’s irreplaceable position after he left the organization and took the ring with him.
- Left hand little finger: Nan (Southern) – Kisame’s ring with gold color.
- Left middle finger: Hoku (North) – Kakuzu’s ring with green color.
- Left index finger: San (No. 3) – Hidan’s ring with orange color.
- Left thumb: Gyoku (Pearl or black king in Shogi) – Ring of Sasori and later Tobi with dark purple color.
