Even if you are an extremely loyal fan of the Naruto anime, it is impossible to imagine the real face behind the mask of this mysterious character. Let’s explore the face of Kakashi-sensei with Naruto Universe.
Does Kakashi ever show his face?
Previously, in an interview with Shonen Jump (via Saiyan Island), Naruto creator Masashi Kishimoto was asked: “Will he show everyone the real face behind Kakashi’s mask?“. Kishimoto frankly replied, “I really want to do that. I just don’t know what to do. This should happen in the upcoming manga or anime episode, but I have no plans for this yet.”
The Kakashi real face is probably the most hotly discussed topic during the years of the Naruto series. Throughout the anime, the number of times Kakashi-sensei revealed his face was extremely rare, making the audience extremely curious and eager to know what was behind that mask. The only time we get to see Kakashi’s face is in the anime Naruto Shippuden episode 469 – an episode adapted from a side story drawn by artist Kishimoto Masashi for the light novel version, not in the original manga.
It was not until later, when Naruto’s journey ended, in a “filler” episode, that Kakashi’s face was revealed. And you know what, there’s a mole right on Kakashi’s chin.
So, after many times thought he had discovered the face of Kakashi-sensei through many tricks of his students, but ultimately failed. The author made fans burst into tears when he saw his face when he was autistic in front of the mirror.
As can be seen, Kakashi didn’t hide anything strange behind the mask, instead perhaps hiding his true beauty.
