Shuriken (手裏剣) means “Sword of the Sword”, which is interpreted as “sword hidden in the hand”. Shuriken is one of the Naruto weapons uses to help distract or hinder the enemy, not as the main weapon, because it is difficult to create enough damage in real combat. Target mainly visible parts of the body such as eyes, face, hands and feet.
